To be the best, you have to learn from the best. So why do so many accomplished leaders put their faith and trust in “coaches” who have never been successful in growing their own businesses? Given a choice between someone who has actually done what you are trying to do vs. someone who has read about it and learned all of the new “coaching jargon”, who should you to trust for accurate, experienced insights into your problems and opportunities? Allow me to illustrate.
If you decide to become good at flying airplanes, hitting golf balls or lighting up a dance floor; your first step is to find an expert who can teach you out of their own ability and successful experience. It just makes sense that if you want to master a new skill; you have to find a master teacher that can share their knowledge and talents with you.
Many business leaders I have worked with have said that they put off getting professional coaching help because they simply did not know who to trust with such an important part of their life. Others have told me that they had reached a point where they simply became paralyzed or overwhelmed by the size and complexity of their personal or business related problems. I have found that this “decision paralysis” is very common to high performing leaders.
If you find yourself in this situation, it may be the right time to consider visiting with me about your situation. Whatever issues or opportunities are facing you and your company, I would like to help you sort them out. My recent article titled“12 Critical questions to ask when considering a professional coach/mentor“ will help you better understand the selection process.
Also, as you will see from the “What Tony’s Clients Say” section of this site, I have over 30 years of success in growing my own companies and working one on one with hundreds of business leaders to help them grow theirs. I myself have been coached and mentored by many outstanding entrepreneurs along the way and understand the value of having someone else’s wise counsel and support in making difficult decisions.
My goal is to help my clients build strong, servant lead cultures and award winning concepts that stand out in their marketplace. I work at a pace that allows my leader clients to fully absorb what they are learning while effectively sharing these lessons with their senior leadership team.
If you would like to visit with me about the possibility of becoming my next coaching client, I will be happy to meet with you in person or on the phone to discuss your situation. If we both feel that I am the right person to help you then we will move forward together. If not, I will be happy to put you in touch with another proven leader/coach who may be a better fit.
